Starting a new gym program

Weight training for women is I believe essential if we want to minimise the effects of the aging process. I do as I preach and have started a new fitness strength training program today. I feel fine right now but I suspect that by tomorrow I'll feel some muscles that I didn't even know I had.

Weight Training for Women is the way to a trim, toned body

Weight Training for Women needs to included cardio work, core strengthening exercises, resistance training and flexibility training. Fitness Strength Training and Core Strength

Fitness Strength Training and Core Strength.

People who do regular fitness strength training often and erroneously give the abs all the credit for protecting their back and forming the basis of strength. The abs however are only a small part of the core muscles. As a matter of fact, it is an imbalance in core muscle strength that can lead to lower back pain. Weak core muscles will often result in a swayback posture because of inadequate support for the lumbar curve. Strong, balanced core muscles help maintain the correct posture which minimises the risk of lower back pain.

Fitness Strength Training – A long term solution to successful weight loss

It is a well known fact that a lot of so called fat burning diets present you with some, if not all of the following problems:

The diet is too strict
The pre-packaged food to be purchased is expensive
The routine is too difficult to stick with
The progress is too slow
You're hungry all day
You feel lethargic

or
Any weight comes back faster than it was lost

Does any of this sound familiar? Be assured you are not alone. Countless people are tired of being overweight and they want to make a change.

Over the years we have been bombarded with almost every possible, and often impossible, recommendation for losing weight fast. The most popular, or at least most advertised, programs include:

  • Eliminate all fat from your diet.
  • Cut out all carbs
  • Follow a soup program.
  • Eat nothing other than bananas

If at least one of these fat burning diets really worked, why then is it that obesity is on the increase at an alarming rate? Research has shown that most of these programs don’t work at all or worse still have you putting on more weight than you lost after you’ve reached your goal. Why is this so? It’s simple. For any weight loss routine to have a lasting effect, diet needs to be combined with regular exercise.

A good balanced diet plan such as the Weight Watchers program or any other healthy eating plan needs to be combined with regular weight training routines. Exercising regularly will speed up your metabolism which in turn will burn more body fat and replace this with lean muscle. This series of events will have the best possible success when brought about by fitness strength training. This form of training is effective for both male and female and will create lean muscle that will strengthen bones and tone the body over all. The end result will be that you will have a healthy glowing skin and a trim strong body to go with it. Your friends will see an unbelievable change in you. Please note; the notion that weight training for women is a No-No because you will bulk up like a man is a fallacy. To bulk up like a man you need male testosterone.

Doing fitness strength training at a gym is great but it is not for everyone. It may be too expensive, there is no gym nearby, it doesn’t fit in with your daily schedule or you simply wouldn’t feel comfortable working out with other people around you. Whatever the reason, if this applies to you than consider setting yourself up at home with a system that will give you the same benefits as a multigym in an actual gym facility.

For long term positive results I suggest that you combine your favourite diet plan with regular weight training routines that you can do at home using the a portable Gym in a Bag system that you can install anywhere inside or outside your home. You can even take it with you on holidays. Do what I do, get your whole family involved and make it a fun way to get everyone fit and healthy. And please remember, weight training for women is essential not only for weight loss but it has the added and very important benefit of strengthening your bones.
